¡Hola! I'm Mrs. Mendez!

Originally from Mexico, I bring the vibrant spirit of my culture to our classrooms as the Spanish teacher for prek-8th grades. Art and creativity have always held a special place in my heart, and when I'm not teaching, you can find me indulging in my passion for creating and capturing art through photography.

After receiving my higher education in the United States, I earned my degree from Saint Mary's College right here in Notre Dame, IN. #GoBelles! I am thrilled to be part of this nurturing academic community, where I can share my love for the Spanish language and culture with our young learners.

I believe that learning a language is a gateway to understanding and appreciating diverse cultures, and I'm dedicated to creating a fun and interactive environment in the classroom. Let's embark on an exciting journey of language and discovery together!
