Mrs. Loaiza was born and raised in Miami, FL, where she met her husband of 18 years. Her husband, Carlos, serves as the Assistant Athletic Director of Equipment and Apparel at the University of Notre Dame. You can often find him on the sidelines of Notre Dame football games and Mrs. Loaiza in the stands cheering on him and the Fighting Irish! Mr. and Mrs. Loaiza have two daughters. Their older daughter, Isabella, is a Junior at Saint Joseph High School and their younger daughter, Cecilia, is joining the 7th grade class at St. Anthony.
With over 20 years of experience in education, Mrs. Loaiza brings a wealth of knowledge from teaching infants to graduate students. She holds Master's and Specialist degrees in Education from Barry University, along with three Montessori teaching credentials and certification in Level I of the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd. Mrs. Loaiza embodies a profound commitment to Catholic education and academic excellence, and is currently a fellow of the Latino Educator and Administrator Development Program at the University of Notre Dame.
Beyond her professional dedication, Mrs. Loaiza treasures quality time with her family. When not at work or cheering on the Fighting Irish, Mrs. Loaiza loves to sing at Mass and in local choirs.
